Idaho SBDC consultant Kevin Learned worked with the Southerlands to help them structure their business and introduced them to Boise-based mergers and acquisitions consultants, The C&H Group LLC, who assisted with the sale. ALMSA provides electronic health record and electronic medication administration record software and services for assisted living and long-term care communities. The Nehemian - Buhl Nancy Tyrrell and her husband opened a custom picture framing and antique business 20 years ago. In 2007, they began working with a Twin Falls SBDC consultant to help them determine what they were doing well and recognize areas needing improvement. With the SBDC's help and a solid marketing plan, they developed and expanded a custom key fob line. Within six weeks they had recouped two thirds of their investment - even in a down economy!
