Working Women’s Business Symposium
The Idaho Small Business Development Center will be hosting the fifth annual Working Women’s Business Symposium from 9:00 to 4:30 on Thursday, September 30 at the Red Lion Hotel in Pocatello. This year’s event will feature two keynote speakers, six training sessions, a fashion show and a trade table exposition.
The opening keynote speaker will be Gynii Gilliam of Bannock Development who will discuss exciting economic development in southeast Idaho.
Our featured keynote speaker this year will be Idaho’s First Lady, Lori Otter. Mrs. Otter launched the Idaho Meth Project and serves as an advocate against underage drinking in Idaho. She has authored of two books.
The training sessions will include:

6. “Keep Your Business Relevant and Fresh in an Ever Changing Climate”
Mary Johnson, McDonald’s Restaurants
This year we are featuring a lunchtime fashion show by TJMaxx sponsored by Key Bank with special guest SEICAA.
Tickets are $25 ($35 at the door) and include the luncheon and break refreshments. Trade tables can be reserved for $50, which includes admission to the event for one individual.
